Veterans of the Wild, Shaping Your Safari

Founded in 2024, our company blends years of wildlife conservation expertise with a passion for adventure. In 2016, Joshua and Paul’s paths crossed when Joshua served under Paul’s command in an anti-poaching unit in South Africa. Their shared dedication to protecting Africa’s wilderness sparked a lasting brotherhood.

As a US veteran-owned business, we specialize in creating personalized, luxury safaris that connect you with the wild like never before. Each journey is carefully crafted to be as unique as you are, offering an unforgettable, tailor-made experience in the heart of Africa.

Meet Joshua Lawes

At 18 years old Joshua left his hometown of San Diego CA and went to South Africa to volunteer with an anti-poaching unit within the Greater Kruger region of South Africa. Having spent years on and off patrolling various game reserves learning how to track dangerous game and living off the land, Joshua developed a deep respect for African culture and customs. In 2019 Joshua joined the US Army as an infantryman and was assigned to the 3-509th Infantry Airborne Battalion in Anchorage Alaska. In 2023 Joshua returned to Africa to continue his passion for wildlife conservation, in the eastern Kafue region of Zambia. Living alongside and protecting the wildlife along the banks of the Lunga and Kafue River systems.

Meet Paul Penny

Paul is fluent in multiple African Languages and has spent over 20 years on the frontlines of wildlife conservation. In 1997 at the age of 15 Paul began his career in wildlife conservation joining an anti poaching unit in the Greater Kruger region of South Africa. Following completion of the intense course Paul spent years as boots on the ground patrolling and learning to live as part of the ecosystem he’s so passionate about protecting. Throughout his career on the frontlines of conservation Paul has also been an instructor teaching the next generations how to combat wildlife poaching. Paul has commanded multiple anti poaching units all over South Africa, during this time in 2016 he met Joshua who fell under his command, this is where their brotherhood began.

--Behind the Lens--

Every click of the shutter holds a story, a memory, a moment frozen in time. My passion lies in capturing these fleeting instances—unique human experiences set against the awe-inspiring backdrop of the natural world, filled with wonder, surprise, love, and happiness.

Fueled by an insatiable wanderlust, photography became my calling—a journey that continues to inspire and challenge me. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of exploring a wide range of emotions and subjects through my lens, from people and weddings to corporate events, wildlife, safaris, lodges, and breathtaking destinations.

For close to two decades, I’ve been honored to document incredible people, unforgettable events, and once-in-a-lifetime moments, each one leaving an indelible mark on my journey as a photographer.

Wayne Parker

I have combined my creativity with this ever-growing eco-tourism to develop a profession in wildlife art. The focus of my drawings has always related to wild animals in some way or another, birds, trees and anything in between. For many years I have experimented with different mediums such as acrylic and oil paint, pastel, charcoal, collage and pen to eventually circle back around to where we we all start, with pencil. My work is drawn on board with graphite pencil and just a touch of colour pencil.

I am currently a qualified candidate architect and practicing wildlife artist currently based in Cape Town, South Africa. I am loving every minute of producing art to share with the world!
