By booking a safari or other travel experience with One Niner Expeditions LLC (“ONE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. These rules apply to all guests, including participants under 18 (with parental or guardian consent), and are designed to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and high-quality safari experience.

1. Booking and Payment
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of your total trip cost is required to confirm your booking. Certain lodges or seasonal rates may require a higher deposit. Full payment is due 90 days prior to departure or immediately if the booking is within 90 days of the safari. Bookings are confirmed once the deposit is received and acknowledged by One Niner Expeditions. Payments may be made via the methods specified on our website or as agreed with your travel advisor.

2. Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email. The effective date of cancellation is the date your notice is received.

• More than 90 days before departure: 50% of total trip cost (non-refundable deposit).
• 61–90 days before departure: 75% of total trip cost.
• 30–60 days before departure: 100% of total trip cost.
• Less than 30 days before departure: 100% of total trip cost.
  Important Notes: Flight tickets (regional/domestic) are non-refundable once issued. Refunds for hotels, activities, or third-party providers depend on supplier policies. Certain custom activities, private charters, or limited-availability bookings may incur a 100% cancellation fee regardless of timing. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, interruption, medical emergencies, and lost/delayed baggage.

3. Guest Responsibilities
Guests are expected to:

• Follow all local laws and regulations in the countries visited.
• Respect local communities, wildlife, and conservation areas.
• Comply with safety instructions provided by guides, lodge staff, and tour operators.
• Maintain appropriate behavior for a luxury safari experience. ONE reserves the right to remove any guest who behaves in a way that endangers themselves, others, or the experience, without refund.
• Online behavior: Users of our website, social media, or other online platforms must not post unlawful, abusive, harassing, or offensive content. ONE reserves the right to remove such content and restrict access.

4. Liability and Risk Disclaimer
Participation in safaris and related activities involves inherent risks, including wildlife encounters, vehicle or aircraft travel, walking in remote areas, and varying environmental conditions. By booking, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks. You release and indemnify One Niner Expeditions, its staff, partners, and suppliers from any claims, liabilities, or costs arising from your participation. Guests must have adequate travel insurance, including coverage for trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and evacuation. For participants under 18, a parent or guardian must accept these terms on behalf of the minor.

5. Intellectual Property
All content on the One Niner Expeditions website, including text, images, guides, and videos, is protected by copyright. Visitors may view, download, and print content for personal, non-commercial use only. Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of content without written permission is prohibited.

6. Website Accuracy and Availability
While we strive for accuracy, One Niner Expeditions is not responsible for errors on the website, temporary downtime, or technical issues affecting information, bookings, or downloads.

7. Force Majeure
ONE is not liable for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, government actions, natural disasters, pandemics, or civil unrest.

8. Amendments to Terms
ONE may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services, website, or participation in safaris constitutes acceptance of any changes.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Any disputes arising from bookings with One Niner Expeditions LLC will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of California courts. By booking a safari, including tours in Southern Africa, you acknowledge and accept that California law applies to your booking, waiver, and related agreements, regardless of your country of residence.
